Brussels Airlines is the airline of Belgium with its headquarters on the grounds of Brussels Airport in Diegem Machelen, Belgium and is a subsidiary of Lufthansa. It is the largest airline based in Belgium which is assuring some 300 punctual flights daily, connecting the capital of Europe to more than 60 Premium European, African and US airports. In addition to 19 destinations on African continent and a direct transatlantic service to New York, Brussels Airline and its intercontinental partners also offer long-haul services to the Middle East, china, Thailand , India and Canada. Brussels Airlines is owned by SN Air holding and is backed up by more than 80 years of aviation experience in Belgium. The airline is a member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA) , the Association of European Airlines (AEA) and since December 9 2009, it becomes the member of Star Alliance , the world's largest airline alliance.
